Behind the More Stylish, More Fun 2018 Ford Mustang

As of our writing, the Mustang tops all other muscle cars when it comes to worldwide sales. With such high stakes riding on its 2018 mid-cycle refresh, you may not pick up on much more than a lowered nose and standard LED lights as visual changes. But don’t let that fool you—the unseen details Ford has employed with the 2018 Mustang more than add up.

This is reflected in the equipment roster. The now-standard six-speed manual transmission has been updated with a twin-disc clutch and dual-mass fly wheel to enable quicker shifts, and a 10-speed automatic is now on the options sheet. Where you used to have to pay extra for Magneride damping, its now standard in every model. There’s also softer touch materials inside, and the instrument cluster is now digital and fully customizable.

But there are other changes, too. To learn about the other new additions to the 2018 Mustang, contact our Ford dealership in Woodside, NY whenever it’s convenient for you. We can fill you in, and schedule you to take one for a spin when it arrives.
